WELCOME TO MYSTIC FALLS

Hello, readers, welcome to Mystic Falls, Virginia! Mystic Falls was founded in 1859 by the Founding Families. Adding to that, our famous town has a history of vampires, witches, and werewolves. Although there have been no supernatural beings in our town for over a century, this is a pretty cool fact about our home! There are many highlights to our beautiful town, the famous Mystic Grill where you will find the best burgers and fries! The sheriff's office is located in the clocktower in the town square surrounded by numerous small businesses and cafes.

The main part of the culture in Mystic Falls is togetherness. The town is very connected, everyone knows everyone; all the children go to the same school, and the founding family names still live in the town today. We hold many events throughout the year honoring the founding families. The southern history of Mystic Falls is very important to the townspeople, they often speak about old battles and celebrate victories. I could safely say we do have some forms of ethnocentrism in our small town, as many people believe our culture to be superior to others.
