THE FAMOUS MYSTIC GRILL

Mystic Grill, or “The Grill” is the main hangout spot for teens and young adults in Mystic Falls. The cafe, restaurant, and bar are a big part of the culture in Mystic Falls. Tourists and townspeople spend lots of time here, socializing with others. Mystic Grill fits in the social science definition of culture, the place being the hangout spot for all, it created a pattern of interaction between people through the social environment it opens. Although it is a place for young adults, the bar allows for a more mature audience bringing in older adults as well. Eating at The Grill is a must when visiting our small town.

The Grill was destroyed in a mysterious gas explosion, and after being abandoned for four months, it was bought and rebuilt. The hangout spot reopened in 2012 and has been successfully running since then (“Mystic Grill,” n.d.). With amazing reviews and a great place to network, the Mystic Grill is a big part of what it’s like to live and visit Mystic Falls.
